By elaborate, said in my previous post, I meant more pictures. There really isn’t much to say. I got to see about 1/4 of the show since I was mainly backstage or with tech, which I didn’t mind. I actually prefer being behind the scenes.

If any of you ladies want to model, come talk to me. I’ll see what I can do for you. ;P JK, I have no power.

I took most of these pictures and the only ones that aren’t by me are the ones that I’m actually in. We hired separate team for photographs and videos, but we needed pictures for our blog and media right away, so we took a lot of picture on our own.

Men’s clothes by Homme Dahyekim and Ken Chen, which probably would not have fit me… And by probably, I mean most definitely. But I was as tall as some of the male models. I was 5’10-11 that day… LOL.

Megan and Christine with Dahae Kim. I should have talked to her a lot more, then maybe she would have given or made me something… lol JK.
Oh, and I forget what those hats are called, but guess how much Christine’s Phuong My hat cost… she lent it.

The show opener. Jay Sario from Project Runway.

They are sharing the smallest cupcake ever…

Ok, let me tell you about these two. Our VP told me to keep an eye out for people who crash events like this for whatever reason and these two looked a bit suspicious. One moment I’d see them walking aimlessly around the venue and another they’d be hard at work. They were inside before the public was allowed in so I think everyone assumed they were with one of the designers. I was talking to the guy when he approached me to ask where he could find the pictures I was taking and I seized the opportunity to ask him who he was with. He pointed behind himself and was like “With… well, it’s so hectic here I’m not even sure. I’m helping everyone.” with extreme hesitation. Red flags. But I couldn’t accuse them of anything and I didn’t want to offend any of the designers in case they were affiliated with someone important. They would both take HELLLA pictures with designers and models alike and that guy’s poses… He would do 90’s kpop poses, which included, but not limited to, the thumbs up, pointing at the camera, wink, etc.

Me, workin’ hard for that money. And for some reason, even though our magazine basically threw the event, we got ONE press pass, required to take pictures and film video. Megan and I had to switch off and share the single press pass to take pictures, which meant a lot of running. If something was happening backstage and I was on with the tech team taking aerial shots, I’d have to run back to either take the pictures myself or pass my pass off to someone else. I got in trouble for making hella noise getting from place to place.

Most of the SF team.
