I enjoyed myself at the House Rulez event. Drinking of course was kept at a minimum cause I was DD, not DDD (Derp Derp Derp). I had a Tokyo Tea and half an AMF. This is a bit off tangent, but thank you Catalina for introducing me to Tokyo Tea. I, for one, do not drink for the taste. I always used to get AMF to get the job done asap. Tokyo Tea is just as strong with better taste. I saw them make it and it’s identical except for a single ingredient.

Anyways, I dressed pretty casually which I came to regret quickly upon arrival. I felt like I was in Korea. Everyone was really well dressed and there I was lookin’ like I’m ready to go to class. I got over it pretty quickly.

Notable tidbits of the night? Guest DJ Paul Ban offered to take us backstage and introduce us the man of the night, Saero of House Rulez, which was cool. We ended up leaving before that happened, but I’m not mad. Oh and a guy approached me to go with him to dance with a group of girls. I politely declined.


Saero is good at what he does. He shared the stage with Lady Chica, who was the vocalist of the night.


I have to admit I was disappointed that he didn’t perform any full House Rulez tracks, but it was understandable. Saero is the man behind creating and performing the music, but vocally he usually features underground female singers. It wouldn’t have made sense to perform music with the absence of such an integral part of the song.


I have no idea what’s going on here. Why and when this picture was taken is a mystery. All I know is that I look like a rapist, like…


This guy. He was alone and swaying back and forth to the music and it came off a bit demonic to me. I almost wanted to punch him in the chest to revive what seemed like a failing heart. I had to take a picture.


I was RIGHT in front of the stage with Danch when I feel someone behind me tickling me. Sori! We always talk about hanging out, but it never comes to fruition. Forreal, soon.
